Yes….this!! I know I would hand God the things. I truly wanted to change but I knew if I fully handed him over my “situationship” I would have to let go…so I kept my hand on it instead of Gods hand on it. It was not until God was like enough is enough and boom it was gone.

Boaz may not meet your expectations – the original Boaz is believed to have been much older than Ruth (possibly in his 80s), and we don't know if he was single, widowed, or possibly already in a polygamous marriage (he still would have been expected to follow the redemption custom even if her were)..
