Stephan hello.. Can he be a player for 5 yrs?? Mine always tells me he loves me, though no actions. He loves to drink on the weekends and then goes on the pc to chat with people. He calls me drunk and always apologizes for hurting me, like on my birthday, or anyday. Im always a “target” in his eyes.He seems to get paranoid alot. I dont know. What i just read, put a knife through my heart, because he just doesnt step up. I give him so much and he just doesnt show me. Oh and he said I remind him, and look like his mom. He once kissed me and startled and called me Mom. We stopped having sex its been 3 yrs. tes it sounds like a situation. But when hes drunk he tells me he wants to move in with me. idk anymore.

I am currently going through a situation similar to this one. This boy asked me out, and I said yes. This was at a football game just last Friday. When I had to leave, he hugged me. He’s never hugged me like that before, so I knew it was real. But now I’m at school and my sister is telling everyone about it. And he’s denying the whole thing. Saying that he would never date me and all that. But he’s the one who asked me. What do I do? I’m getting to the point where I just want to lock myself in my room and never come out…

Thank you for this post. I am leaving a situation you are describing – divorcing my husband, who’s behavior has gone from some signs of the signs you mention, to basically all of them. He does not want to change, adapt or work on himself, or our marriage. I am devastated at the moment, but I know that I will be better off without being a tool/ bank/ cleaner/ wife, left to become emotionally abused by the person closest to me.

I'm in the same situation but I have realised he is just playing me with his sweet words, when I think deeply I've noticed he kept me for his benefit. You understand the relationship which is 90% effort from me and 10% from him. Then I remembered something that (which is embarrassing though) in our first date I paid for the food he made an excuse about his bank card We've been 3years together and still asking myself why am I still with him. Which i dont have an answer. But thank you for this blog I know exactly the step I have to take. Regards

I’ve this same issue. I love him and he says that he loves me too but his actions are completely opposite. He never makes me feel special and loved and when I tell him about how I feel, he says that he’ll take care from now onwards and make me feel nice but still does nothing. Maybe I know that I should leave him but I love him to the infinity and I want him to love me the same.
