Hi there Diane , i hope all is well . It’s this type of snap back to a question that someone has ( we don’t even know if he knows Jesus or not ) that doesn’t make us look different from the world. He was asking a question and although that it might be offensive and maybe he doesn’t know how to ask a different way , we can encourage him to do it better by being the very example . We don’t know where he’s coming from or what his past is like and maybe this a concern for him of some sorts , so maybe you should ask him where he’s coming from not what the question has to do with anything, for example; Hey David hope all is well , what do you mean by that statement ? And go from there we don’t attack we investigate and discern . We christians really need to practice more self control with our emotions . Remember who we are representing and remember everyone else including people who don’t know Jesus is reading the thread and how it can make Jesus look. Stay blessed .
